Matthew 6:
9 "Pray along these lines:
'Our Father in heaven, we honor your holy name.
10 We ask that your kingdom will come now.
May your will be done here on earth, just as it is in heaven.
11 Give us our food again today, as usual,
12 and forgive us our sins,
just as we have forgiven those who have sinned against us.
13 Don't bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the Evil One.
For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, Amen."
14 Your heavenly Father will forgive you if you forgive those who sin against you;
15 but if you refuse to forgive them, he will not forgive you.

The Lord's Prayer Study:

1 - Our Father in heaven...


There is a reason why the Lord Jesus told us to pray along these lines.
It's because every human being is curious about the following questions:
Who am I?
Why am I on earth at this point in time?

When we begin praying along these lines, as Jesus told us to do, we will notice that these fundamental questions begin to be answered in the most fulfilling way on the inside of us.
So let's begin praying:

Our Father in heaven...

Jesus wants me to establish a relationship with my Father in heaven, which will continue for the rest of my life.
This means that I'll get to know my Father and He will have unlimited access to my life.
This will channel me into WHO HE made me to be!

Prayer:
Father in heaven, please help me to know YOU.
I give YOU unlimited access to my life, because I want to be WHO YOU created me to be,
in Jesus' name,
Amen.
